By creating an account or using SecureChat, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use SecureChat. By using this service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3. Account & Data

To use SecureChat, you must provide a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Messages are stored on our servers in encrypted form to enable synchronization between devices. Due to end-to-end encryption, we do not have access to the content of your messages.

4. Prohibited Use

You agree NOT to use SecureChat for:

Sending spam or unsolicited messages
Harassment, threats, or abusive behavior
Distribution of illegal content
Sharing malware, viruses, or malicious code
Any activity that violates applicable laws

Violation of these rules may result in account suspension without notice.

5. Privacy & Encryption

SecureChat uses end-to-end encryption. This means that only you and the intended recipient can read your messages. We cannot access, read, or share the content of your communications, even if legally compelled to do so.

6. Emergency Measures

In exceptional circumstances that threaten the security, integrity, or confidentiality of the platform and its users, the operator reserves the right to take immediate protective measures. These may include, but are not limited to:

Partial or complete deletion of stored data
Temporary or permanent suspension of the service
System reset to initial state

These measures are taken exclusively for the protection of the community and do not constitute an admission of any wrongdoing.

7. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed from our servers.

8. Disclaimer

SecureChat is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, uptime, or the security of data beyond the encryption measures in place.

9. Limitation of Liability

SecureChat and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the service.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
